    Does atlas slow down on big sites?

    Pages render in parallel, and a watch run rebuilds only what changed. A thousand pages take about two seconds.

    Can I use my own templates?

    Yes. Put them in layouts/ and atlas build picks them up.

    Where does the output go?

    In the project's _site folder, or wherever you point --out.
